A custom swing is needed to provide a child with a gentle swinging motion while not hindering the medical conditions of said child.

The design we used uses a frame made form tubing.  The seat has an adjustable back with a pin lock.  The seat is mounted to a frame which is suspended form the top from the frame.  Bearing are used to allow the swinging motion.  The swing motion will be gentle.

=== Detailed description of selected design ===
The frame design we are using uses 1.5 inch steel tubing.  It will be bent on both of the side and connected in the middle.  This will allow the frame to be able to be taken apart for easy transportation.
The seat design we are using allows for one degree of freedom.  The back of the seat will adjust almost to 90, 45, and just above 180 degrees.  This is controlled by a pin on the hinge.  It has a high quality, firm foam padding on the seat for comfort.  The seat also has a double shoulder strap and lap strap safety harness.
The swing is connect to the frame through an enclosed mount.  In side the mount there are 2 bearing on either end.  A shaft will slide through the bearing from the side.  The swing will then be attached to the shaft by thread in the shaft.  The swing using a bearing as a way to swing will allow little on no moment in any other way but forwards and backwards.
